With 33 long years in advertising, Harshan, along with his partners, is widely recognised for shaping the winning strategies of Kerala, Karnataka, Bahrain and Sharjah.
Under his watch, destination marketing history was shaped with the widely acclaimed positioning of Kerala as ‘God’s Own Country’ and Stark’s powerful campaigns and global marketing forays that set the pace and agenda for other destinations.
An XLRI-Jamshedpur alumnus, with a Postgraduate Degree in Business Management (MBA), Harshan’s eventful career gained flight at India’s advertising powerhouses – the Mumbai offices of Grant, Kenyon & Eckhardt (now merged into Contract Advertising) and Lintas – supervising the advertising accounts of the country’s two biggest advertisers, Colgate-Palmolive and Hindustan Lever .
The diverse assignments undertaken by Harshan include Branch Director for the Kochi and Bangalore offices of Mudra Communications, as Board Director of Pinnacle Advertising in Sharjah and Bahrain, as well as Director of EMO – Paris, and The Great India Tour Company, Trivandrum. He’s been a Consultant to Contract Advertising in Chennai and Advanced Business Consultants in Oman. He is also on the Advisory Board of the Asian School Of Business.
